Platform guide / PC

PC.
FIND YOUR EDGE.

A visibility-first Warzone PC setup framework. Prioritise consistent frame pacing, readable targets and input settings you can repeat—not a preset that ignores your hardware.

01 / Performance

Start with stability

  • Update graphics drivers through the GPU manufacturer's official tool.
  • Close unnecessary background capture, overlay and browser workloads while testing.
  • Use the game's benchmark or a repeatable match scenario to compare changes.
  • Prefer a stable frame rate and consistent frame times over a peak number that fluctuates heavily.
02 / Graphics

Prioritise readable targets

  • Begin with the recommended preset, then reduce expensive effects that do not improve gameplay clarity.
  • Adjust texture quality to available VRAM and keep an eye on streaming or memory warnings.
  • Calibrate brightness and HDR to your monitor and room lighting.
  • Use upscaling or frame generation only if your hardware supports it and the result feels responsive.
03 / Display

Match your monitor

  • Set Windows and the game to your monitor's intended refresh rate.
  • Use a supported resolution and refresh combination.
  • Try fullscreen or borderless modes and keep the one that behaves best on your system.
  • Check V-Sync, variable refresh rate and latency settings as a group rather than changing everything at once.
04 / Input

Mouse or controller

  • Choose a mouse sensitivity you can track with consistently and record it before tuning.
  • Keep mouse DPI and in-game sensitivity changes deliberate.
  • If using a controller, tune it separately using the controller guide.
  • Use the same practice routine when comparing changes so muscle memory can adapt.

PC results vary by CPU, GPU, memory, driver version and monitor. Treat these as tuning steps rather than guaranteed FPS claims, and recheck after major game or driver updates.
